The IA Secretary of State's Office preliminary results are now showing Rita Hart up 162 votes over Mariannette Miller-Meeks.
Yesterday the preliminary results had Miller-Meeks up 282 votes.

Jasper Co Auditor Dennis Parrott said staff detected an internal error that resulted in votes in one precinct being overreported in multiple races. Recount to start tomorrow.
