We know that employer’s are pushing parents (mostly mothers) out of their jobs because they have childcare responsibilities- the number of times I hear people say: ‘that’s illegal, no company would do that’ well....

As of today, Shopify is a digital by default company. We will keep our offices closed until 2021 so that we can rework them for this new reality. And after that, most will permanently work remotely. Office centricity is over.

In the local FB group the view was back to back less than a meter was ok. 🤷🏻‍♀️ There seems to be two ends of the spectrum - those that are cautious (me too) and those who aren’t bothered. Shame we can’t find middle ground for the sake of hospitality industry.

I love the print version of the Saturday Guardian, it is a crucial part of my week. All the different sections are part of my weekend. Panic sets in if it’s 11 am and I’ve not yet got a copy.

Striking stat from - deaths among shop assistants 75% higher for men and 60% higher for women than general population. So far very little resistance from MPs in the Commons to the new mask policy but that stat underlines what is at stake.

Or they just can’t be bothered to wear them. Drivers should refuse travel if no mask and no exemption proof.
