Tomorrow, Lethbridge City Council votes on a resolution to: - prohibit sterile syringe distribution - request provincial defunding of the supervised consumption service. Many experts wrote letters to urge the Mayor/Council to defeat the resolution. Here's my conclusion:

Alberta's UCP government has announced an "expert" panel to review supervised consumption sites across the province including the one in Lethbridge which is the most heavily-used in North America. None of the 8 people on the panel is from farther south than Calgary.
