This is important because sure, but how am I supposed to know which men I need to look out for? Stranger or not, I have no way of knowing until it's too late. Putting up with inappropriate behaviour shouldn't be the norm, victims shouldn't be blamed. 10/?

Actresses are required to arrive to set 1-2 hours earlier than men do in the mornings, often around 5am, for hair and makeup. That means they work *more* hours for *less* pay. That sucks.

Met a lady taxi driver today. It's always refreshing whenever this happens. I fear going in random cabs alone with male drivers because of the horrible incidents that have taken place when women have gone alone in taxis. The fear is so real.

Not all men behave like this, but all women have to deal with those men who do. And with those who waste our time with their 'not all men' rubbish.

you just gotta love have a random old dude walk past you and your friends sitting in the gras, only to notice him jerking off on the next fucking park bench while making eye contact 2 minutes later.

April is sexual assault awareness month & April 30th marks 2 years since I was raped. I wrote this for a final & never thought I’d share but I know that every testimony I hear makes me feel less alone & I hope this one does the same for others🖤

My only two cents about the thing is that men have the privilege of saying that but women don’t cos have faced harassment and systematic oppression. 😥

Men: Why can't women just be honest and give a hard "no" if they aren't interested in a guy instead of leading him on? Also Men:

Hey dude bros- if you’re tired of the ladies in your life complaining about not being ___ as equally as men, I have a solution: Start treating women as equals. If they tell you something is happening, believe them. Pay them equally. Listen and elevate their words.

Just so we are clear, I was on a date when this happened. And the man who grabbed me was not my date. I had politely declined this man 2x's. I have never met him in my life and I did nothing to influence his behavior.

I find I’m texting my teenage daughter every 15 mins or so if she’s heading home in the dark. I don’t want to tell her to be careful, she’s learnt that without me. But, honestly, I feel anxious til she’s home.

Some dudes have a hard time believing bc it would never occur to them to act that way. Back when was trending, my husband was incredulous at the stories my sis and I shared with him. He tried to play devil’s advocate until I threatened divorce.
