Manny Machado has told many people that are in his inner circles he wants to play for the . If the Yankees don’t get him—and there’s “room” for him—New York cares more about pocketing money than winning titles.

Name to watch with : Miguel Andújar. Rival execs tell me and NYY open to moving him. Would make sense as ’ ask for Realmuto; MIA wants established young MLB player as headliner. Also would line up with NYY pursuit of Machado. Torres could play SS.

With Hal, the will spend when they need to but the days of throwing money at players is long gone and that's not a bad thing, IMO. We're in the phase of smarter spending so while it's very easy to throw $300+M at Machado, theres more than goes on behind closed doors.

Seems the are getting the ultimatum from the - send Thor to the or we’ll send Realmuto to one of your other rivals. Not MIA’s job to do NYM any favors here.

If the decide to hold onto Miggy, we must look to trade some of our top value prospects in order to bring in one more key starting pitcher. Trading for Paxton and resigning Happ were great moves but one more pitcher must be added in order to fulfill the rotation.

How freaking long does it take the to finalize a J.A. Happ deal? I feel like they are watching this off-season rather than participating.

Would make all of sense in world for Manny Machado to come visit Yankee Stadium next week. Believe that he’s visiting Philadelphia some point next week. need to get ahead of this. Have him visit the Bronx, extend competitive/legit offer, then sign him.
