The creepy Wyrdmarks on the floor underneath Celaena's bed is giving me the same terrifying feeling as when the music picks up in horror movies and the idiot main character approaches The Door That Should Not Be Opened.

Authors, I need your help! I have a student who wants to start putting her writing out there for the world (and hopefully publishers) to see. She is terrified. I can offer the usual encouragement, but those of you in the industry..what advice would you give?

One thing I realized during readability edits was the chaps w/characters most like me in Academy (geeks/mean girls) were the smoothest reads/required the fewest edits. I wonder why? 😜
