9 days ago I had under 100 followers. Now I’m closing in on 500, but only interacted with a few of you. I’d love to “meet” more of you! Writers, throw out an into, a gif, your , your , your favorite marsupial, whatever.

Hello fellow Writer! 👋🏻 I’m working on finishing my first novel (that I started almost 10 years ago). Progress has been slow and steady as I am also a teacher and momma to a toddler and baby on the way. 😊

What's your take on a book you know is a tough sell? I got really into a Captain Hook retelling before the thought hit me: Has this been done before? *Research* Ouch. Agents DO NOT like Peter Pan. I've got others more "to market". Do I drop it?

Surprising allies and rampaging mythical creatures are only surpassed by the family reunion from hell. Check out Book 4

I'm getting excited! Spikes is getting closer to being available to be devoured by your hungry eyes! Keep an open 🧠 as it is slightly longer than a novella, doesnt fit completely in , it is and it does have a movie-like pace. Change of pace read. 😁

I've be invited to pitch a novella idea for a shared universe project aimed at 's. Never written anything this long (outside NaNoWriMo), nor a YA, nor shared universe with 6+ other writers. No idea if I'll make it, but I'm going to throw my hat into the ring.

Today I have the urge to dust off an old that I haven't looked at for over a year. It's a piece I've been writing and re-writing since I was 14. What's your oldest project ? Is it finished? Will it ever be?

For those still arguing teens listening to 80s/90s music in current is unrealistic I offer up the following: At a HS football game last night the pom line danced to Ozzy Osborne’s “Crazy Train” & the student section went wild when the DJ played Run DMC’s “It’s Tricky”. 😉

I was in college when Naomi Shihab Nye's beautiful novel, HABIBI, was published. It startled me to see a novel with a Palestinian character, to see Palestinian people depicted not as they were on TV, but as I knew them. 1/

my WIP takes place in Chicago and Puglia. Chicago bc Lake Michigan and hotdogs (& it's DOPE COME @ ME). Puglia bc the Adriatic and pasta. You got water and food? I'll write a book about you!!! 🙃 hopeful

I was perusing the YA section at the bookstore today and got kind of giddy. Not because I was about to spend my money dollars on books that will be added to my mountain. But because there's that little ray of hope that my book will be there, too, one day.
