You can only write regularly if you’re willing to write badly. You can’t write regularly and well. One should accept bad as a way of priming the pump, a warm-up exercise that allows you to write well. JENNIFER EGAN

You go through so many phases. You go through the “I'm a Fraud' phase.” You go through the “I'll Never Finish” phase. And every once in a while you think, “What if I actually have created what I set out to create, and it's received as such?”

When you open your document to start after a break, always start by reading the last scene - not just the last sentence. It gets you back into the swing of where the story was going.

Twitter is a place where I can be ridiculous. But I can also discuss topics that range from to to world events and connect with really awesome people--writers, readers, and lots more. Basically, I'm glad Twitter tolerates me. :)
