I don't know why some people think that the hardest part of a writer's job is coming up with ideas for their books. I have a ton of ideas. What I lack is the time (and, tbh, sometimes the focus) to sit and actually write them.

I may never make tons of money as an author or make a Bestsellers list but that's okay. I'm overwhelmed w/gratitude at how many people have chosen to spend some time with me through reading my words. To me, that is priceless&makes it all worth it.

Hey How many of you base your main characters on people you know? My MC has some of my traits while her love interest has some of my husbands but that's where it ends for me. How about you???

Guys...I just got the news, I’ve now got 10 short stories being published in a series of 5 anthologies with and not one of them is a romance!! Not too shabby for a romance author 😁😁😁

Got my very first rejection from my journey today! Glad that due to the on here, I don't feel as alone in this process and was able to prepare for this moment. On an unrelated note, is it acceptable to cry in Barnes & Noble?

Posts everywhere about how difficult writing is, but personally feel it’s as innate as breathing. I’m not saying what I produce is better than someone who struggles through it. Who else sees writing as gift, not a chore?

What cliches DON'T apply to you?? And don't act like you don't know what those cliches are. You totally do. πŸ˜‰ I'll start: I hate coffee, I don't drink alcohol (not even while !), and I don't collect notebooks. πŸ˜‚ Your turn!
