Many people who want to be get 4 or 5 pages down, tell themselves it sucks, and then scrap the idea. What got you past this part ? For me, I had so much story burning in my brain, I just pushed through.

Can we not shame for how much the write a day? It’s great to write 4 to 8 hours everyday but not all of us can. We have jobs, children, health issues— I celebrate if I write each day. You’re valid, regardless of your schedule

. Writing can be a riveting, beautiful experience. It can also be draining. You give so much to it. Remember to stay hydrated creatively. Rest, read, drink in new books like water & keep your own words coming. Don’t drain the tank without refueling.

Writing tip (because I do this all the time) If you're writing something like "many companies etc. etc." Do a quick Google search and replace 'many' with a stat. "65% of companies ..." is more credible and persuasive. And that's our goal as , right?

Didn’t think this was controversial but: DON’T publish your first draft. Pantser, plotter, whatever. Don’t do it. Get a writing group, beta readers, editor, whichever. Edit it. Your will be better for it.
