Good evening and welcome to WEST! Tonight we are starting part one of a two part series on revising! Here is our first question: After you type those glorious words "THE END" how long should you wait before tackling revisions?

I feel like I'm burning up from the inside from creative tension and frustration. Fellow how do I finish my novel while being a stay at home mom to 4 kids? I feel hopeless and sad. My dreams and goals are still important to me but it all feels impossible. 😢

Hey writers! How does your mom react to your books? I've got this: My MOTHER calls me and says: you'll be happy to know that I gave my friends the good copy of your mystery. (which is totally PG rated) Me: ?? Her: I used WITE OUT on the times somebody said 'damn.'

Does it work? Do you need to shell out $$$$? What I'm doing now (no book out) is making friends with bloggers and authors with much larger bases. Is that a good strategy?

4/4 kid parties done for 2018. Went with my tried and true coloring page/wax paper/freezer/flip technique for my newly 9yo son’s cakes. Hopefully back to and tomorrow.

I forget when I last washed my hair. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve showered every day. But my hair? It’s anyone’s guess.

So, a month ago I had a baby. (!!!) I also started working on a new novel, and I've managed to write 30 pages since my noisy little assistant arrived. One page per day may be slow, but it's steady & sustainable.

First time joining hello It's been a crazy week, kids are out of school, Thanksgiving shopping for 20 people, buried under mounds of laundry and housework and still trying to squeeze in writing time along with work for clients.
