After a day of sunshine and beach, it's a gorgeous evening for a solo walk around Baltimore. Swifts are swooping, the air smells of honeysuckle, and Mt Gabriel across the bay is wearing a cloud as a hat.

When I was a child, whenever I missed a target by miles (in hurling, football, darts etc), which happened A LOT, my Dad would always say “You were as far out as the Fastnet” - how I’d love him to have been with me this morning to see this great feat of Irish engineering

Boomerang is back in bay! On today’s trip we encountered Europe’s most well known humpback. (HBIRL3). He is instantly recognisable by his bent over dorsal fin. He has been returning to Waters for almost 20 years now. Hence the name...Boomerang!
