What a scene. The timbers are treated, so this doesn't surprise me.

Anybody suffering from unhealthy air you can make a simple air purifier by strapping a furnace filter to a box fan.

The whole West Coast is literally on fire. It's devastating and so close to home. The air here is so hard to breathe too. It's only getting hotter and dryer. Please keep everyone in your prayers!

I really shouldn’t have expected 2020 to AT LEAST spare us an insane wildfire season, but in my heart, I did hope. *sigh* If you’re in WA, is a great resource.

Update nearly 4,000 acres have burned and it is 10% contained. About 200 people helped fight the fire overnight but the fast moving winds made it hard for crews. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
