Japanese woodblock illustration in Kiyohara Shigeome's work on poisonous plants [615.9 Kiy]. The book is printed on traditional Japanese paper, which is made from bark including that of mitsumata (Edgeworthia chrysantha), also known as the paper bush.

A type of Japanese paper - Mogami Konnyaku, shown folded (full size 96 x 65 cm). It's painted with Konnyaku (Devil's Tongue root) which makes it both waterproof and very very tough, almost like cloth. And that's the end of the story!

So, about washi tape and glitter pens... I don't have any glitter pens but I have hundreds of other pens. I have three rolls of tape and two are still unopened. The one I sometimes use is a pretty lilac. I rather fancy washi tape would be useful in bondage situations.
