A walk to the fell to check sheep is a daily treat. Today a little later but a moment or two watching the sun settling.

The only great birthday I’ve ever had was when I turned 15 and Learning to again after having major knee surgery twice. I had to deal with quite a lot of pain in my life. Nothing compares to these past 10 years. Physical therapy, parents divorce, COVID-19 just to name a few

Today’s was unexceptional, apart from me wearing a colourful dress and coat because my dog walking clothes are in the wash. Izzy has missed going up onto the fields so we ventured up there in spite of the mud. Sometimes ordinary things can seem very special.

A cold day. We went to the woods for a walk. Under trees, it felt slightly less cold, but I needed a cup of hot chocolate to warm my toes once back home. The bright green moss was beautiful. I touched it. Cold, wet and soft. Winter is here.

I walked a total of 259.9 miles between November 1-30. November was also the month that I had to replace boots. 250+/- miles/month since March had worn through the soles!
