Despite nearly 600 properties evacuated, I witnessed an amazing community spirit at Wainfleet today. Even the rescued chickens seemed chirpy! 2 months rainfall in 2 days has really taken its toll. Emergency Services working around the clock to lower the water levels

Derbyshire crews remain at supporting alongside other FRs’s from across the UK. Crews deployed with our High Volume Pump (HVP) - in addition we also sent a water rescue crew. We’ve been working at Wainfleet, Gibraltar Point & Hob Hole Pumping Station.
