Using VS on Ubuntu? Do yourself a huge favor and go to menu 'Selection >>> Switch to Ctl+Click for Multi Cursor'. Otherwise multi-cursor won't work 😉

TIL To override project settings in , create a workspace anywhere - not necessarily in same folder / repository, and add the project folder to it, then use it to work on the project. Workspace settings override project settings. Maybe unexpected/confusing but handy.

Is there a way to put 's outline module alone on the right side of the window ? I'd like to have my explorer on the left, my editor on the middle, and the outline on the right.

I think I'm extra dense today, because I can't figure out how to make do anything with my code. Write and save a file? Cool. No compiling for you, though. Run a debug session? Generic error that says it didn't work, and no other output in any panel. What'd I miss?

at the meetings, I always see lots of Macs and lost of Linux machines, very few Windows. No surprise there. However, this year EVERY person I've seen writing code is using (no matter the OS). If you're not, you should check it out.
