Visual math for the win! My almost kindergartener figured out how many cookies we need to bake to make enough ice cream sandwiches for us and our neighbors. He drew 9 sandwiches and gave each sandwich two cookies!

We learned about place value expanded form, how to say values in words, and the importance of the zero place holder. Ss connected learning back to their understanding in base ten forms. Great work Ms.Sclass!
