A driver ran a stop sign and crashed into a cyclist riding along Queens Boulevard in Forest Hills this week, then got off scot-free, the cyclist says. And the whole thing was caught on video.

Today's Classic Toronto Driver Award goes to CJSB 396, who not only turned right on red without stopping but also honked his horn repeatedly at the pedestrians in the way, who were crossing legally.

BTW-Nevada law also requires drivers to move over a lane (when one is available) or at least three feet (if another lane isn't available) when passing a cyclist. If you can't give them the space, you can't legally pass them.

Margaret Atwood’s (apocryphal?) insight on men and women—Men worry that women will laugh at them; women worry men will kill them— has a nice parallel to road safety: drivers worry pedestrians will inconvenience them; pedestrians worry drivers will kill them.

We’re not entirely sure how he’s managed it, because he would’ve had to drive through several no entry ⛔️ signs to get to that point, but somehow a licensed minicab has ended up in the one-way part of Wilton Road Drivers are asked to be cautious on approach

14 years ago today, a distracted driver ran a red light in Brookline, MA, hitting me in a crosswalk. I survived. I spent 3 yrs dealing w/his insurance co. to get all my ER bills paid. It was deemed an accident so he got to keep his license. I demand change.

Always watch for cyclists when opening vehicle doors. Use your far hand, reach across your body, turn and look before exiting the vehicle.

Last night a family member was struck by a hit-and-run driver. No broken bones so they didn't file a report. Remember this when considering crash stats. How many people just get up and brush it off and wind up with long term effects?

A couple weeks ago, I saw a driver using his hand-held cellphone while stopped at a red light. I took a clear picture of the cab # and the brightly-glowing screen in his lap.

HORRIFYING to watch and happens more often than people realize because it’s not usually recorded. We need better bike infrastructure to protect riders - ASAP. Hope the cyclist recovers quickly

Wow-A driver trying to make the light @ the intersection I was just waiting to cross sped up his half-ton killing machine & flashed his high beams @ me (instead of stopping) as if to say “don’t u dare go when it’s ur turn cuz I’m about to run this red.” Unbelievable.

New 964-spot parking garage in Denver at confluence of 4 rail and 12 bus routes. Can someone help me this? People on my streets are dying in record numbers.

Similar to Viers Mill, but with the school crossing, could be Conn. Ave in Kensington. One would think these are obvious places for correction, but instead MoCo wants to do a study. Your 12 y.o. could help the paid staff find and correct these dangerous crossings.
