A thread on recruiting BIPOC students in the K-12 space. In recent weeks I'm hearing so much excitement & energy around the long game of recruiting BIPOC students into vet med. I know many of us have dancing images of exposing littles to animals & animal docs.

Enjoy this video of my three-legged, 16 year old cat killing his catnip-covered bear. He was diagnosed with a soft tissue sarcoma about a year ago, and we elected to amputate. No chemo. Survival time with amp is ~1 year. He’s still kicking ass.
