First day out with the newest grad student! Looking at gas fluxes from urban ponds. I’ve learned that urban limno feels pretty different from what I’m used to, and someone else’s fieldwork is my favorite type of fieldwork.

Hey twitter: I'm writing a one-pager on current and projected urbanization globally and in the US. I'm using census data for current US urban popn (i.e. US popn is 63% urban) but can't find projections for US urban popn in the future (2050?). What's a good citation?

These urban trees are pretty lichen-covered! Better air quality? Proximity to coast? Discuss!
