Tory austerity strips more than 3,000 computers with internet from libraries in England, yet Scotland and Wales see rises. "Use libraries" work coaches say. Pretty hard when they're closing. Devolved nations are however increasing.

I’m Schrödinger’s Universal Credit claimant according to the DWP Atos assessor states I'm fit to work as I can drive my adapted car then reports me to the DVLA saying I'm unfit to drive. claimants face this treatment constantly.

The DWP don't get the irony of offering budgeting support to claimants in impossible financial situations created by the DWP. People on low incomes might as well go to Wonga for money advice.

We will be asking the DWP to rethink its approach and set out a true ‘managed migration’ approach in which it moves people across to without requiring everyone to make new claims. Here’s how it could work... 7/10

Absolutely disgusting - how many more examples of failures will people be forced to live through before it is scrapped? - Third of UK’s universal credit claimants hit by deductions from payments

A big thank you to Croydon for hosting an excellent discussion forum on the proposed managed migration process. Those of us from who attended found it extremely helpful to hear directly from claimants and welfare advisers.

The notion that a govt which throws billions of pounds at corrupt incompetent private sector providers has any sense of 'duty to the taxpayer' is laughable.

This tragedy should be RTd widely. With the tories set to STOP the claims of vulnerable dsbd & sick ESA claimants (incl the support Grp) & force them to register new claims for controversial, widely discredited is this RW ideological war on sickness & disability?

All women, especially those experiencing domestic abuse, should have access to finances so they can leave a violent partner. We will continue to campaign for split payments of to help women like Sara (name changed) gain financial autonomy:

What the regulations say: will write to people giving them a deadline to apply for (as little as a month). If they don’t claim, their existing benefits will stop on the deadline. If/ when they eventually claim UC, they won't get transitional protection 4/10
