If anyone watching thinks these examples are unusual, blips in the system, then think again - they are not. In fact, these stories are very common and they are happening across the whole of the UK. The problem is Government don't want to listen.

No sympathy. If you want to earn and live a comfortable lifestyle you HAVE to work, chap in a council flat claiming cannot afford food and rent, smoking a cigarette with a dog? Multi missed meetings at the Job Centre - claiming computers are unusable.

The rapporteur report on UK poverty was scathing - I asked the Government minister if he agreed with Professor Alston's assertion that in the UK poverty is a political choice?

Rudd is worried about the language of the report. She should be more worried about how daft she looks when the reality is put before her. Laughable ignorance.Politically motivated soundbite responses. A lack of ability, compassion and integrity.

This is just disgusting and sums up perfectly the Tory austerity approach and the collateral damage that comes from their policies. Kwasi appears to have no understanding of the human damage he has been part of in not fixing or lifting benefit freeze etc

Kwasi, you failed to show any humanity in your response on to the UN's report on poverty. Your answer on also showed no understanding of the£40bn cuts to social security since 2010 with more to come. The impact on children/disabled ppl has been devastating
