Trudeau has twice approved the TMX expansion. When Kinder Morgan killed it, after a court ruling, Trudeau saved it by buying it. It is unfathomable that Albertans are so ready to believe constant Conservative Bullshit, but here we are. When will they see through deceit?

One more quick take from me while I am still in vacation mode: if you are miffed about , you should also be miffed about leadership race & vice versa. Why? It's all ethics & now investigations. If you're picking & choosing, your politics are showing.

Can someone explain to me why Jason Kenney is passing up on federal infrastructure money that's been offered up by the Federal Liberals? AB lost the most jobs in the country in July. Kenney promised us JOBS, all he has done since he was elected is kill them.

One of the very first things Jason Kenney did as Premier was to slash Corp taxes to "create 55,000 jobs" (those are the 's words, not mine). This also caused a drop in government revenues of approx $4.5Billion. Big numbers for a province in deficit. /1

For those forgetting - and outraged that the new Alberta Government hasn’t yet introduced a budget - the Alberta NDP brought in their first budget on October 27, 2015. Completely normal for a new government to take some time to build its first budget.

The cap on insurance hikes expires August 31, so instead of my insurance going up a maximum 5% ($175) it’s going up about 30% ($900). Please tell me how the cares about average Albertans?

No. Teachers are the EMPLOYEES of the parents... even over the Gov't. They can do as they are directed. Or... they can find another profession.

If you aren’t concerned with the ’s handling of the curriculum file, consider this: at their founding convention, members passed a resolution essentially stating they intended to halt the curriculum & fix it to their own liking. (1/3)

With bonds at 2% and Alberta's debt to GDP ratio the lowest in Canada at about 5% we need to be very clear that hyperventilation about 's debt position is pure fantasy. These are preformative histrionics to preemptively justify attacking the most vulnerable.

Trickledown economics doesn’t work. ignored evidence & warnings that their tax giveaways will not create jobs or induce investments. Alberta lost 14,300 jobs in July. This Minister’s tax giveaway is more than disappointing.

Supporters of this resolution state the talking points that curriculum must be neutral & apolitical. Of course, the great irony in this naive view is that now the are using all levers of political power to achieve these desired ends. (2/3)
