Hey When you said it was a new day at Uber and that you would be more transparent, Was that just lip service? It's been long enough with no word from you as to what happened. Tell us now please.

Boycott Uber from 1pm today for 24 hours - if you would normally use Uber please consider the type of employer they are and support the workers fighting for better conditions. Don’t use their app. Don’t cross digital picket lines. Support the strikers ✊️

The Uber drivers’ strike is laughable. Let’s not forget these drivers are happy to charge people x4 or x5 when demand is high. Like when there’s a terrorist strike for example. If you want to work in a deregulated market then you must live with low wages.

The tax evading, dishonest, right-wing just had one of their staff: Sophie Jarvis: call legally defined worker rights such as minimum wage & paid holidays "flamboyant rights". Candidly making the case for a Dickensian Britain.

CWU members don’t cross picket lines. It’s a tradition we are very proud of in our union. Whether it be on the gate of a workplace or today, on an App like Uber we will support working people. Solidarity is a word that needs to be reborn in this country

Here in Sandton hundreds of Uber drivers have gathered in protest. They’re demanding management discuss pricing changes with them. While the plan was to hand over a memorandum, some drivers say the Uber offices are closed today because of the strike. [KS]

Ola Uber users in have just shifted to auto ricks. Others back to using public transport. Plus traffic reduced as 40000 cars off the road. Less pollution. Mumbai marches on. Strike has backfired on drivers.
