Boycott Uber from 1pm today for 24 hours - if you would normally use Uber please consider the type of employer they are and support the workers fighting for better conditions. Don’t use their app. Don’t cross digital picket lines. Support the strikers ✊️

Hey When you said it was a new day at Uber and that you would be more transparent, Was that just lip service? It's been long enough with no word from you as to what happened. Tell us now please.

The Uber drivers’ strike is laughable. Let’s not forget these drivers are happy to charge people x4 or x5 when demand is high. Like when there’s a terrorist strike for example. If you want to work in a deregulated market then you must live with low wages.

I agree too. I never have and never will use Uber. My tweet was detailing their strike and letting people who do use them know there is a virtual picket line they are crossing if they take an Uber during the strike period.

Ola Uber users in have just shifted to auto ricks. Others back to using public transport. Plus traffic reduced as 40000 cars off the road. Less pollution. Mumbai marches on. Strike has backfired on drivers.

CWU members don’t cross picket lines. It’s a tradition we are very proud of in our union. Whether it be on the gate of a workplace or today, on an App like Uber we will support working people. Solidarity is a word that needs to be reborn in this country

Please support the Uber strike from now until 1pm tomorrow. It won’t kill you to use someone else but it might help get fair rights for their drivers. Oh & perhaps you could tweet asking them to pay a fair tax too please.

Detroit Uber Driver Dec 7
Replying to @dkhos @Uber and 2 others
Prices go up for riders, drivers share goes down. People in Detroit who rely on Uber to get to work now can’t afford it, good drivers can no longer drive to provide rides. This leads to unmaintaned cars and inexperienced drivers, plus, unhappy customers.
