Being a can be tough. My sugar has been insane the last couple of days. No, this isn’t from sugar. I don’t eat candy. No, this isn’t because I don’t take care of myself. I take 7 injections daily. No matter the battle, no matter the cause, I will always win. 👊🏻

A client was buying her moisturisers and when I asked if she has much more shopping to do she told me she was type 1 and needed a drink! She was 85 and had been diabetic since she was 3! What an amazing lady 💕 There is hope that we can live a long happy life!!

Last night we attended a Beetle Drive, arranged by Andrea (pictured here on the right, with campaign member Karen & her son, Cian) Great fun was had by all and a fantastic £141 was raised! Big thanks to Andrea for organising and to all who came along! 🐞

This is what happens in the absence of something like the NHS. It's frightening being a in Britain right now, knowing that Brexit may force us to trek overseas to obtain insulin. Will we need to band together and form a similar caravan?

As diabetics often times we feel so pressured to be “perfect”. Have the most “perfect” numbers. Have the most “perfect” attitude. But there is absolutely no thing such as perfect! We are working hard every dang day and THAT’S what counts!
