A 10-person module with the Type 2 Lone Star Handcrew has been busy responding to multiple fires in the Davis Mountains, Big Bend National Park and had the opportunity to assist with a search and rescue mission at Guadalupe National Park.

Not seeing too much smoke from the fire anymore. Firefighters are getting a great handle on it. Update on the Eastern Fire (400 Acres, 80% Containment) as well as forward progression being stopped. Fire will likely be 100% contained over the next few hours.
