Yep. Long from $27. According to Livermore, " ...it never was my thinking that made the big money for me. It was always my sitting. Got that? My sitting tight! "

Options sellers are forced to sit on their hands to collect their premiums. As a trend follower and option seller, the philosophy is very much complimentary. Both approaches rely on patience, the laws of probability, and sound risk management.

I believe that not fully accepting the risk of a trade is the biggest downfall in trading. You have to accept that the loss is very probable. Only when you relax with the way things are can you make progress.

Gimme 35-40% and I’m fine. But we also need the appropriate sized trends, 3:1 ratios. In my studies it’s not the win rate that changes the mostduring periods of lackluster performance, it’s the winner ratio being smaller 2 to 2.5 : 1
