1 week into our 🚢 aboard Jewel from Tokyo to Vancouver (eastward direction) on Sunday, May 12th, we celebrated AND crossed the International Date Line🌐. That meant we repeated Sunday with a 2nd the next day! How cool was that?

Here is the note left in our Jewel cabin advising us to turn our back 23 hours after crossing the International Date Line on our cruise. Hence, our 15-days was actually a 16-days cruise, minus a few hours as we crossed multiple !

And this is the co-ed section of the spa suite with direct views over the bow of the Jewel , heated chairs and a with bubbles. It wasn't cheap at USD $299 for the 15-days cruise but it wasn't crowded either.

It was quite a letdown that 🛳️ didn't do anything special when we crossed the International Date Line 🌐 somewhere in the sea on our [🌏 to 🌎] . I guess crossing the Equator is a bigger deal than crossing the Date Line.
