Shabazz is the best dad (even with the whiteboard, probably because of it)

Sorry, jumped the gun a little yesterday... I can definitely confirm the is being repeated TONIGHT at 7pm all the same love, chaos and lols, minus the sweary words.

'The Baby Has Landed' has been the most honest, relatable and fascinating portrayal of parenthood. The tired bickering, the monumental changes to your whole world and the all-consuming love. I'd love to see a second series

Loved the @BBC2 series should be essential viewing for expectant parents. Raw, unedited REAL life, none of this celebrity life crap. Outstanding series, didn’t want it to end - how brave those families where to be filmed 👏👏👏👏👏

Huge THANKYOU to the families for letting us document your lives in such intimate detail at such a moment of vulnerability. It’s been a true privilege to be able to share your experiences. Thankyou for the laughs, the tears and the love.

Loving the gay dads, they're are sooooo funny, love how reality has now hit home, messy house, grumpy and tired, bickering over 'stolen' cake and biscuits 😂🥰💗

The Baby Has Landed is such a real and lovely account of bringing a newborn home. I've loved the whole series so far and have found it really comforting - it's hard for us all no matter our circumstance.

Like Shabazz on , it's easy for dads to find going back to work difficult. You're probably not getting much sleep, and your whole world has probably just turned upside down! Read more about juggling work and being a dad here:

“I dealt with the fact that if I liked boys, then I’ll never have a family. And then I got used to the idea that it was never going to happen.” And then this happened.

If you haven’t watched yet. I would recommend you watch on BBC2. There’s an dope black dad on there called Shebazz and a positive representation of a black family 🖤

I don’t watch much normal TV but I’ve just watched two Dads at the birth of their daughters on & am in BITS at how much love & devotion is in the mens eyes & frankly fuck anyone who is against any kind of love. I’m so freaking happy for them.

Watching & reminded of this - from when Annabel was just a few weeks old - the 2am feed. It. Is. So. Hard.

This black family are so beautiful. I nearly lost it when the boys were comforting their mum. Amazing parents with such sweet boys. 😭❤️

It’s quite sad how excited I found seeing my local hospital, Broomfield, on the telly on just now - but I mostly enjoyed how the people involved struggled to park in what is definitely the world’s worst hospital car park. Accurately represented!

Hermisha’s family are absolutely gorgeous. The boys are awesome. And the dad buying his baby girl her first rose 🌹 was beautiful. 🖤

On now is like the Arnolfini Marriage portrait meets Creature Comforts shot my Martin Parr, most importantly finding the best in all of us at a time of year and when days are long and dark, in more than one sense. Brilliant work.
