Can’t believe it’s taken me eight years of living in to finally read some Laurie Lee! This book is a beauty. Especially loved the description of him approaching London by foot after walking from Stroud in the 1930’s. Was crazy when he mentioned the tube!

Enjoyed a packet of these rather delicious crisps at at the weekend & was so impressed that the packets are home-compostable. Hope more district pubs & restaurants will start to stock (and compost) them. 👌🌱
