Rehab Unit... work has started on the long awaited therapy suite renovations.. can’t wait for the end result, a more motivational environment, with more opportunities for patients to aid them on their rehab journey.

Truly moved today during our CALM mood & relaxtion group on the ward. The impact of mood on stroke is something vital to focus on. Our group allows patients a safe space to talk & share,to know they are not alone and to complete breathing&relaxation exercises 💜💚💙

Honored to speak on & botulinum toxins at this excellent symposium 🔑 points: - Spasticity = $$$ - Work toward triple aim - Patient-centered goals (must be realistic & SMART) - Use interdisciplinary spasticity team - Treat early - BoNT works

Should be my last day of therapy and then I am home tmrw!! Still tons of out-patient will be needed. No where near where I was pre-strokes. But I'm confident in my team!!
