Wildflowers found yesterday for this week's challenge along with two Orange-tip butterflies clinging tightly onto Greater Stitchwort and Garlic mustard as blew past. Other flowers found were Buttercup, Dog Violet, Forget-me-not and Vetch.

Calm after storm.The rains brought by have provided water to propel the Early Purple Orchids (Orchis mascula) into full bloom and they now carpet the woodland. Whole habitat set to be clear felled by this Sept.Orchids may return but will wildlife?

Today saw the start of my 2019 P4P’s events, however decided to try & ruin it, but we battled on, minus a gazebo after it tried to take sail & with multiple layers on πŸ˜‚ However Puppy Cooper & TPD Fletch still pulled in the visitors & helped raise us some funds 🐢🐾
