Confirmed: "All HSE staff who attended work on Red Alert weather warning days will be paid for time worked and receive time off in lieu. Staff who could not get to work or whose place of work was closed due to red alert weather warding will be paid as normal."

Got a call last night to say that my brother was admitted to hospital in London. Was unaware that he was made homeless 2 weeks ago & spent on the street. He's malnourished & exhausted. He was too proud to tell anyone. Certainly puts things into perspective

🐑 During the first bout of bad weather from , we had 300% more calls. Some officers were snowed in and we were stretched very thin, but managed to deal with emergency call-outs, including this poor sheep! Thankfully she was unharmed and was released back to her flock
