One of our top tips for motorists when travelling around recycling & waste vehicles is to, Slow down, stay back and look out for council collection crews working or crossing the road. We can then avoid any incidents like this from happening!

Most recycling & waste vehicles have 360 degree cameras fitted to record dangerous drivers. If a driver chooses to drive on the pavement they not only risk prosecution but more importantly put themselves and others at risk of serious injury or worse

In case you weren't shocked the first time when we shared this footage...here it is again. It is dangerous to drive on the pavement to pass recycling vehicles. It's not worth the risk!

.’s vehicles are fitted with 360 degree cameras which are used to gather evidence of DROPs for prosecution, it’s not worth it.

Driving on pavements is illegal and can kill. From today, bin lorries in Wakefield District are fitting with 360 CCTV cameras. Law breakers will be prosecuted.
