I loved that by Jen Wang focuses on homelessness, friendship, and cultural standards. As a daughter of immigrants, I can relate to feeling like I am “not enough.” I hope to share this book with my 12 yr old, kpop loving sister, and then put it in my classroom library!

What a beautiful night to take your kids outside to see 3 planets in a row! Download a good Stargazing app, grab a blanket and look at the night sky together!

It was a clear and dark night for star gazing, one great benefit of residing out in the rural parts of the world. ‘Focused on the Pleiades and Orion constellation for about an hour or two just for fun around midnight — 300 ten-second exposures each. 🌌💫

Bought a new lamp for my new desk. I didn’t need task lighting, just something to add to the ambience and make it feel more “homey”

The shower reaches its maximum tonight! Under ideal conditions, you could expect to see up to 25 shooting stars an hour. You'll see a few tonight but you'll see more in the early hours of the morning.

Halley’s Comet will not return until 2061, but debris left behind by the famous comet will spark the Orionid Meteor Shower — and this year's show could be impressive. The meteor shower will peak tonight.
