Just had the pleasure of meeting a delightful little boy with & sharing my experiences as a child with bladder & bowel problems that go alongside a dodgy spinal cord. What a privilege to give him some hope that you can be whatever you want to be when you grow up.

Having a like is much like the weather. Some days, like Iditarod day, I feel great and clear headed both physically & mentally. Other days are painful & gloomy. I try to remember to take things one day, one hour, one minute, heck even one second at a time

My granddaughter is going to defy every odd! Doctors said she would be in a wheelchair; she uses a walker. They said she would always use that walker; today she walked on her own!

This year is extra special because my mom gave birth to me on this day and raising a child with all by yourself is not easy!! But I think she did a darn good job with me!! I owe so much of who I am to my mom!!
