I'm planning a really exciting challenge in October. I'm looking for suggestions on any props/items to record that are easily obtainable, inexpensive or versatile. Don't suggest the usage, just the prop 👍😎

My usual though process when creating a sound effect: 1). What kind of sound it is? A Power-up, footstep, gunshot etc. 2). Which feeling do I want the sound to have? Powerful, sad, happy and so forth. ----->

I feel like I post this monthly but 's Swish libraries are consistently useful in many contexts. I bought Swish 1 right at the start of my career and it has paid for itself over and over. If you're starting out, you could do worse than buying that library!
