Hit by a car driver this morning face planted the side of the car. Driver turning in from right of this picture. Thanks to the driver behind stopping and helping. Drivers realise you are in a killing machine !

Some excellent(!) riding from this guy today. In the audio (muted), I tell him he cut me up and he says "I didn't see you" which, if anything, makes it worse

Got hit by a car today while cycling home on Greenhills road. Car pulled out in front of me and then took a left turn, into the cycle lane and into me. I'm fine now. Video and garda report to follow.

This is a disgrace. Judge accepts driver's excuse of “He simply didn’t see her” and says that a hit-and-run crash which fractured the cyclist's skull & left her with permanent wrist damage was on the "lower end" of the range of seriousness.

Today's cycle commute: Cons: 1) Heavy sleet 2) Got hit by a car. Pros: 1) Suspicion of being a jedi confirmed as I landed on my feet despite using spds and hit from the side. 2) Bike miraculously undamaged. 3) Driver was nice

The bridge needs clearer signage, more hi-vis, and shouldn't have weaved out in front of the truck. Do bridges have licenses to be in the middle of the roadlike that? Because the PROFESSIONAL driving the truck has passed FOUR tests. How many tests has the bridge passed?

Reminder to cars - isn’t an excuse. It’s borderline an admission of driving without due care skill and attention. Mirror, position, signal, manoeuvre. Not just manouevre. Fortunately no one was hurt but may be time to start running a front camera.

This Twat thinks Technology absolves him of the need to drive with care & attention for other road users. If the other vehicle had been a motorcycle 🏍 he could be facing a manslaughter charge. ⚠️ MIRROR, signal, manoeuvre.
