Never a viable project financially, even worse now. Will BC NDP give up their justification for continuing based on the sunk cost fallacy (dollars as lemmings)?

says it can't be done, not enough sun. UK is not known for being sunny, yet... STOP SITE C! PUT the money in SOLAR and WIND. USE our other Hydro dams as batteries. THAT is the future, not building more dams.

The title says it all. How can ever compete with this? RIGHT IT CAN'T! STOP the PUBLIC MONEY WASTING that is the building of SITE C! All Site C will hold is DEBT for generations to pay off.

When will ratepayers find out how accelerated scheduling at the dam will increase rates? Access to an unlimited public bank account leads to inefficiency. Report 18 to months late. Concerns from site re: fill quality would be another high cost item

Dow also has a small nuclear reactor on site! These dam-collapsing floods - resulting from these huge, climate change-related atmospheric rivers & heavy rains - may make engineering calculations of dam tolerance obsolete. What does "1000 year flood" mean anymore?

Sheer folly just to attempt building on shifting, slippery, sludgey, slumping ground. Then add the risks posed by fracking-induced earthquakes + 2 older dams upstream + changing snowpacks/precipitation.

..My engineer friend: "The important point is that we don't know how large these rains will get, and historical flood sizes may be too small & lead to underdesigned spillways. The Michigan dam is a perfect example. What was designed for, & how do they know it's enough?"
