Love "The General." 🙂 Bought the new Cohen restoration of it on BR this week. Fantastic! Doesn't use tinting, but I actually like it better that way - incredible clarity. Plus Carl Davis score. 👍

I love this anecdote about the wonderful Jack Cox and how he shot the roller coaster sequence for Maurice Elvey’s 1927 Hindle Wakes. Just the photos of Cox at work on this give me vertigo! From the old ACT Journal - a piece of history.
