Love this simple label, so I chose it as my of the day. “?Naina” (yes, the q mark comes first) is a great imo from Kagoshima, a bit on the light side. Nice prickly nose though. I liked it neat and with both cool and hot water. What’s your ?

CLEAN: the piece is spot on that (vacuum distilled) barley is crisp and clean, but so is vacuum distilled rice shochu. Conversely, atmospheric distilled barley and rice are umami bombs (but hard to find overseas).
