Before I leave for work each day, and before she is awake, I leave my daughter a note. I end the note with “Be Kind Always.” Today, my sweet 3-year-old said, “Mommy, I wasn’t as kind as I could be today, but I’ll do better tomorrow, I just wasn’t feelin’ it.”
