With Laurens County reporting unofficial results in the House District 14 race, Stewart Jones scored a major win, taking 1,143 votes - nearly three times more than second place contender Michael Seymour, at 478. Democrat Garrett McDaniel wins big too.

Elections officials weren't kidding earlier when they said turnout was light in the House District 14 special election. Combined, just 2,917 ballots were cast out of 79,551 registered voters - a rate of 3.67 percent.
