Why is a student who wants to do an electricians course labelled as having 'low aspirations' because they 'could do A-levels' ? When people with 'high aspirations' are having their house extended, try using your knowledge-richness to rewire your own house!

The teachers need to up their own standards first. Chewing gum, shoes unpolished, shirt hanging out- not exemplifying high standards and setting a low bar

. The head teacher is TERRIBLE. No shoes on, feet up after a shit ofstead inspection. scruffy history teacher and a woman saying being an electrician is not aspirational. This programme has made me feel so incredible sad

The target system based on results students get in primary school is one of the most ridiculous parts of the UK education system. It's idiotic. It ignores the infinite # of variables that can impact education in teenage years. Utterly stupid.

Education should be about raising young people to become confident and ready to change the world - it’s not about making them learn test answers by heart.
