EM FCS 7 completed #1 of 3 community service projects. Holiday baking and Christmas ornaments for John and Jeretta Tauriella were delivered! When given a chance our youth can do amazing things! So happy they thought of this project and love the smiles!

It's beginning to look a lot like gingerbread houses! Decided to build them with graham crackers so all 40 hospitality students could have their own. Math calculations will certainly play a role in success!

Beautiful no-knead bread lab today! Students learned to measure by weight using a scale. They watched it bake and the smell was awesome! This is possible thank to the great new enrichment period in our schedule.

ECE students are wrapping up labor and delivery! Today they analyzed the different layers and surigical cuts made in order to deliver a baby via cesarean. On Monday we will have our c-section role play to demonstrate all they’ve learned and use these!

Thank you for this article. My family and consumer sciences students will be using their math skills tomorrow to cut a snickerdoodle recipe in half and bake the cookies to see if they did a good job or not! Math, reading, measuring, collaboration.
