Research from Northern Ireland shows the Nordic Criminal model saw an increase to sales of sexual services. The model had no effect in reducing trafficking but increased sex workers' risk of violence & police harassment. Read more:

The reason parliament passed a law to reduce sentences by up to 40% had nothing to do with justice. It had to do with the perennial mismanagement of a legal system that is price beyond d the reach of the public and has been perpetually under funded by government.
