Marginal gains, good shoes, racers, wet gear, spikes, S&C, super foods.........all good stuff for the athlete but a good utility room well away from the rest of the house to dry and store smelly gear and dirty shoes is IMO a must have for the runner

Tried these strap-on spring grips for the first time on a snowy/icy run this evening. I was surprised at how well they worked. Still a bit of a grind, but I never even came close to slipping. What is *your* go to gear?

Had an extra early start to the day. That one star was the brightest light on the trail till the sun came up. Thanks, Star!
