Every time I see someone sharing a PB for a 10k of under an hour, I have to remind myself that a) I am still a beginner and b) I am still getting out there, even if it takes me an hour and a half. Every run counts. No matter how slow you roll. πŸ’ͺπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Breaking40: Week 1, Day 3 Rest Day. Taking time to rest and recover for the next session is just as important as your next run. I use the foam roll, spiky ball, resistance band, duo ball and massage stick to help target those tight areas and help me stay injury free.

Good Run this morning. Faster than yesterday. I’m thinking I may challenge myself and do 10km each day for the rest of the week (till Friday). May hurt a little but it’s got its appeal. My mountain to climb for the week. πŸƒπŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸŽ§πŸ’₯
