Every step we walked canvassing, every person we talked to at our stands, every bit of campaigning that we did, it was all worth it. The legislation isn't perfect and we'll keep fighting until it is but as of last night, abortion services will be provided in Ireland.

Savita 7 years ago today. I went through a quite similar experience in an Irish maternity hospital last year. When I pressure the doctor he said: "What happened to that lady in Galway isn't going to happen here". Then I knew thad to pressure them even more.

I’m sorry Ray, but is this the same loving, respectful and caring God we are told about? Who preaches love thy neighbour and do onto others as you would do onto yourself. I’m pretty sure God or Jesus would not be publicly shaming women in their time of need.
