No one denies the negative effects of sky-high rents. However, ’s plan to nationalize housing is not pro-worker. Large corporations aren't small owners. A 3% isn't fair if you dumped your life’s savings into a space. If we cap rent, we cap the taxes.

5 year on its way in Berlin. Germany's private rented sector is bigger than UK's and German tenants have more rights & security. 's pledge to regulate private rented market is sensible policy which brings UK housing rights into line with European mainstream.
