People who believe in god are not less intelligent than those who don't. They only appear to be less intelligent because they believe in something that a third grader can debunk.

Religion should never be given any favouritism. Everyone gets to practice their own religion within the law and NONE of them should be given a tax exempt charitable status whatsoever. If we remove the charitable tax bit you WILL see which religions are legitimate!

Why do theists feel the need to specify that they love god more than their family? I find it so odd. How could you love anything more than your family, particularly something that is undistinguishable from non existent.

Mavrodes points out that there is a description of God and the stone that is self-contradictory. Assuming God is omnipotent, the phrase, “a stone too heavy for God to lift,” becomes, “a stone which cannot be lifted by Him whose power is sufficient for lifting anything.”
